Last weekend Noosa District State High celebrated 50 years. A lot of work by the staff there made for quite a good celebratory gathering. It was great to catch up with a number of people I haven't seen for some time! One of the great performances was from old pals Bruce (my high school instrumental music teacher) and Kylie (a fellow student). So why not grab the camera and take a few shots?

What a great crew the Davies are! We had a fantastic afternoon hanging out with these guys. It was made all the more adventurous by sharing the area with a bunch of other weddings and photo shoots - the Powerhouse at New Farm is quite the popular spot!
As well as being generally awesome.. they all like pulling crazy faces. Although, you'll have to request them to divulge some of the crazy face photos we took ;-)

It was a lovely day celebrating the marriage of a lovely couple! So many wonderful moments and stories from the day. It was definitely a privilege to be a part of their celebration!
We loved the focus on the local and hand-made (check out Anna's recycled paper flower bunting!), the eco-friendly and the socially responsible (the reception was held at Bleeding Heart cafe).
In line with our aim to minimise our environmental impact, we used public transport as much we could. From and back to the Sunshine Coast, and on the wedding day - it was quite the adventure!
